Description
This is a USDA Rural Development grant program that provides funding to rural areas or towns with populations of 10,000 or less that are not able to obtain credit on reasonable terms by providing long-term, low-interest loans. Funds may be used to acquire, construct, or improve water and waste disposal systems. Funding is available as long-term, low-interest loans. If funds are available, a grant may be combined to keep user costs reasonable. Interest rates are fixed over a 40-year payback period.
