Description

This grant program assists municipalities in replacing septic systems that are malfunctioning and polluting a waterbody or causing public nuisance. Existing pollution problems must be previously documented for funding eligibility. Grants can be used to fund 25-100% of the design and construction costs. Grants are issued as reimbursement for eligible costs. Funding amounts are based on a percentage of eligible costs to be covered by a project.

How To Apply

- Applicants must submit an Applicant Information form and Application Description of Existing Conditions form to Brandy Piers, Small Community Grant Coordinator. Department will contact applicants to request Discharge Field Report form for eligible projects or explain why projects were found ineligible.
