Description
Regional public comprehensive planning organizations or interstate organizations chartered as a unit of the local government, an independent state agency, or an interstate organization under an interstate agreement of which Maine is a part are eligible for these grants. Grants will be awarded for watershed-based plans that provide assessment and management information and actions to restore nonpoint source impaired waterbodies or to protect waterbodies threatened by nonpoint source pollution. 3 to 4 grants will be awarded in the $10,000 to $50,000 range per period.
