Description
Rural areas with a population of 20,000 or less according to the latest U.S. Census Data are eligible for these loans and grants. Eligible projects include purchasing, constructing, and/or improving essential community facilities. Also, this funding may be used to purchase equipment and pay related project expenses. Funding may be issued as low interest direct loans, grants, or a combination of the two. Grant assistance is limited based on regional economics (see factsheet for more information).
