Description
Annually, grants up to $1 million are issued to coastal and Great Lake states and territories to protect, restore, and enhance coastal wetlands and uplands. Projects that are eligible include acquisition of real property interest in coastal lands and waters, and restoration, improvement, or management of coastal wetland ecosystems. States are required to provide 50% of project costs through cost sharing or only 25% if the state has a land conservation program.
